Today, NCCFD provides

early childhood development services to vulnerable and disadvantaged children 6 weeks to 5 years of age and their families. NCCFD’s early childhood development center is located near the Carver Terrace Housing Development in Ward 5. The majority of the families that receive services walk to the Center or use public transportation.

NCCFD is licensed by the DC Government and services are provided to over 500 children and families on an annual basis. We operate 11 hours per day offering a nurturing and safe environment for children. We also offer a structured curriculum, highly qualified and experienced teachers, a year-round educational program, and nutritious meals.
